Dark Force is a rather unique beer as we
have never before heard of a stout made
as a wheat beer.
The flavor characteristics of a wheat yeast
is what makes the biggest difference here
+ of  course the large percentage of wheat
malt that really give us a struggle with very
slow run  offs from the mash tun. Our
mash tun couldn't hold another pound of
grain, its filled right up under the sparge
arm.
The wheat yeast will give you a different
flavored stout because the yeast does not
give a beer with lots of body. It displays a  
fairly low malt character, but a big fruit
character which is unusual for a stout.

In spite of being an all malt 9% alcohol
beer its fairly light in body and easy to drink.
